Luckily, I did a google search and it seems like quite a few people got games without serials and someone was kind enough to post a serial.

The access code was only a few digits, while the serial they are looking for is 20 digits. It came in a case that looked like a console case, and there were two discs just plopped on top of one another in a spindel, sort of like when you buy blank cds. It wouldn't have shipped from EA with no holder of any kind. second though is that you didn't actually register that with EA.
